The RV Garuda was created to unite students, faculty and alumni under a shared and memorable identity. As the symbol of the RV Garudas, it celebrates the experiences, achievements and pride of being part of RVEI.
Designed to live across both digital and physical platforms, the mascot strengthens the sense of belonging among RV’ians and brings the spirit of the institution to life in a way that is instantly recognisable.
A mascot gives an institution an identity and, thereby, a personality.Â
The RV Garuda captures the energy and character of the RVEI as individuals and as a community of relentless changemakers, making the institution more relatable and engaging.
It also strengthens communication across events, campaigns and merchandise, helping the identity of the RV Garudas stand out from that of our competitors, while building pride and recognition among students, alumni and supporters.
The mascot draws inspiration from Lord Garuda, revered as a source of courage, determination and power. This inspiration shaped a visual identity that conveys confidence, passion and the drive to succeed. The RV Garuda represents the bold spirit that encourages every RV’ian to aim higher and achieve more.
The RV Garudas logo serves as a powerful visual symbol of unity and pride. Seen on jerseys, banners and promotional materials, it reinforces the identity of the RV community while strengthening the presence of the mascot across campuses and events.
The RV Garuda carries an unmistakable air of confidence. Donned in red and blue, the mascot serves as a reminder of excellence in both academics and athletics. With its wings poised on its waist and gaze fixed on victory, it symbolises the fearless spirit, determination, and unwavering ambition of every RV’ian.
The RV Eaglet is a young RV Garuda and represents the younger members of the RV community in schools and PU colleges. As the young Garuda prepares to take flight, it symbolises curiosity, potential and the excitement of growth, both in the classroom and beyond.
The Merchandise
Only the logo can be used for merchandising. The colour of the logo has to be as specified in this book. While the material colour can be chosen based on preference, red, black, and white are the recommended options.
